Herbal medicine has much to offer in the way of managing symptoms and helping you get through times of illness and stress. Where I find it shines uniquely, however, is in its ability to help us live a healthier life, have a healthier body, and prevent disease. There are specific categories of herbs and what have been dubbed “superfoods,” that can help provide minerals, support gentle detoxification, nourish and support certain organs and organ systems, and balance the endocrine glands. We will cover these various categories and how to best use these supportive plants and mushrooms to help support you in achieving more vibrant health. This class will also specifically focus on herbs to support a healthy immune response, strengthen our immune system overall, and help our whole body be more resilient in these times, especially as we move into fall and winter.
